Guitar and harmonica king Jon Gindick has long been known as one of the most exciting harmonica players and teachers on the international scene.
His books on playing blues harmonica have sold over a million copies.
His Mississippi Delta Blues Harmonica Jam Camps held several times a year in Clarksdale, Mississippi are world-famous.
His act as a single performer, playing harmonica & guitar and singing his songs has opened festivals, and earned standing ovations.
The music you are listening to is from Jon's highly acclaimed new cd, produced and accompanied by Ralph Carter.
Bulletin: "When We Die, We All Come Back As Music" was named "Best Blues Song of 2010" by Hollywood Music in Media Awards in 2010.
Jon Gindick's books, music and career are reviewed at www.damngoodtunes.com/The_News.html
"Song after song Jon Gindick laid one surprise after another on me. I have never heard anything like this music. It is so outright original and entertaining it’s hard to imagine why music like this hasn’t spread like wildfire across the planet! All the elements are there; great words, instrumentation and production – top notch. But that’s not even the kicker…it’s Jon Gindick’s soulful beautifully melodic choice of song structure – how the vocals dance through your head as a journey through an enchanted dreamscape of love, loss, pain, anger and joy like only a true legend would know how to deliver. Sometimes a crooner in the classic style, at times rough and raspy and others so subtle you can almost hear a secret you’re not supposed to know! I have not been this surprised by a record or an artist since we started this web magazine over five years ago. And this CD will become one of my most cherished – right up there with Layla and Let It Be. It’s that good!" -- Bruce J. Maier, Damn Good Tunes

Jon, You sound like butter on a warm roll, smooth. I was at the May 2012 jam camp and I had a great time!! The life of Jon Gindick is an interesting one, full of lots of cool facts. I want to come to the jam camp in May again. Hope to see you in person again in the spring. I'm just a simple carpenter in love with the blues. Art and Patty Anthony

2 weeks later and I'm still glowing about my phone lesson with you!!
Thanks for everything, Jon-- your great communication by email and phone, being so down-to-Earth, your professionalism, your fantastic examples, your experienced explanations and your encouragement. I've always stayed excited about being a harp player, but after my phone lesson with you- I'm on fire again!!!
